About Kokoro Kickboxing

The club was established in June 1996 and was then know as JAG Martial Arts, focussing upon the Japanese martial art of Ninjutsu.

Since then the club has moved into a new era, encompassing various other martial arts, and in January 2007 became Kokoro Boxing, Kickboxing and Ninjutsu, one of the few full-time training centres in the area and a promotional company.

The gym is open seven days a week, and in addition to the advertised timetable, many regular private bookings for one-to-one tuition and small group tuition also take place.

Why Kokoro?

The name Kokoro was carefully chosen and is a representation of what we are all about.

Kokoro means Heart and Spirit, Benevolence and Strength in Japanese, all the things that we hope to cultivate at the gym.
